This gorgeous little journal has been created from a beautiful vintage book from the 1970s, 
Every part of the original book as been reused in this creation.
The spine has been replaced and widened to allow room for more pages, and each of the 3 signatures features two complete pages from the book.
The original spine was then reused to create a bookmark that is attached to the journal with a ribbon, and has a handy tuck on the outer spine to keep it out of the way when not in use (see main photo).
Pockets on the inside front and back covers have also been created from pages in the book.  The remaining book pages have then been transformed into sweet, envelope-shaped, notelets.
A small stencil complimenting the theme and images in the book is included. It measures approx. 10.5cm w x 12.5cm h.
